Looping Lab

Project Brief: Investigating the principles of animation, create a number of short animated sequences using the provided characters, ensuring the final video can loop.

Early on I decided the audience should be viewing these characters as if in different test chambers of levels of an elevator. This would create a coherent setting throughout the video and limit the scope to something manageable within the time frame. I then created various scenes where the characters had some physical interaction with an object in each, increasing the number of characters by one for each scene. All the characters came rigged except the monopod-cyclops (Scene 3) that was used as our introduction and follow-along-tutorial on how to create rigs for animation.
